Hey There!

Greetings, I’m Hashauna Richardson McKie, I am a  colorblind digital 2D Artist and character designer from Mallorca Spain.
Since I am enchanted by the fantasy world, I really enjoy drawing fantasy illustrations of fairies, as well as designing characters and concepts. Art has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. Back then I was only using pencil and paper but it wasn't until 2012 that I was introduced to the world of digital art. Since I am colorblind, I was always self-conscious about using color in my illustrations, but with the help of digital art over the years, I have grown more confident and have a better understanding of color even though I still struggle sometimes. 

I have a huge love and passion for animation and storytelling in general. Recently, I volunteered at an indie animation studio designing characters and being the art director for a series called Blink and the Brute. Unfortunately, the studio disbanded, but I learned and improved so much from the experience.

I believe that animation is magic, something that can touch the hearts and souls of both children and adults alike, and that’s something that I always desire to be a part of as well as contribute to. Art can heal others, which is why if I can make someone's heart brighter with my illustrations, then it's absolutely worth it.

As a creative person, I can't imagine living without art, and I hope to continue learning from those who inspire me as well as the world in general.
